Adams & Martin Group is seeking a legal assistant to join a law firm just north of Minneapolis and St. Paul. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with an onsite work model.
Manage client accounts, monitor balances, send demand letters, and ensure compliance with lien laws.
Draft collection notices, maintain records, collaborate with attorneys on settlements, and track outstanding debts.
Assist with Conciliation court documentation.
Provide administrative support to the Transaction team, including contract preparation, scheduling, document review, and file management.
Coordinate communications between clients, attorneys, and external parties.
Minimum 2 years in a legal assistant or paralegal role, with a focus on collections or debt recovery.
Associate degree is preferred.
Experience in Conciliation and transactional support is a plus.
Strong legal knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with legal e-filing, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, and comfort working in a pet-friendly environment.
